Charlie's Angels April 4, 2014 - Barclays Center, Brooklyn New York

 

We are excited to let everyone know that MAIN sponsored New York and Connecticut area children with alopecia to attend the Charlie's Angels Meet and Greet Program this Friday, April 4th, at the Barclays Center when the Detroit Pistons visit the New Jersey Nets.

 

Since 2005, National Basketball Association (NBA) Player, Charlie Villanueva, has been participating in Meet & Greets with the NAAF (National Alopecia Areata Foundation) community members at various arenas around the country before his games. As Charlie himself has alopecia areata, his Meet & Greets always feature conversations, pictures, hugs, and autographs. In fact, the success of the program was the primary reason for Charlie winning the NBA’s Community Assist Award in February of 2006.

 

This was the largest group ever attending the Charlie's Angel's Meet and Greet since the program's inception with over 100 participants.
